De Williams’ artistic practice traverses surrealist abstraction, employing painting, fine art photography, and photograms to articulate a nuanced visual lexicon. Since 2003, she has cultivated a body of work marked by atmospheric layering, dynamic interplay of shadow and vibrancy, and a deliberate ambiguity that provokes reflection and engagement. Her use of mixed media, including acrylics, sculpture, screen printing, and innovative photogram technique, enables an ongoing exploration of form and meaning.​

Williams’ work has been presented at the John Curtin Gallery and Huzzard Studio, contributing to significant group exhibitions and diverse collections nationwide. In 2025, her work will be included at the Pingyao International Photography Exhibition, and currently features in the “Art for Aid” show at Holmes à Court Gallery. The emotional resonance and conceptual depth of these pieces position them as compelling contributions to contemporary Australian art.
